Going to the Zoo with the Zoo....
Savoring one of the last beautiful days of fall Hannah, Rachel, Holly and I decided to brave the crowds and take all the kids to Hogle Zoo. The weather was amazing. It was a really fun day. There were a lot of baby animals and that made it fun...baby animals are so much cuter. The day actually went well considering we had seven kids under the age of four. Holly even managed to save some poor lost child, we were all surprised she gave him back to his mom.

Anniversary Pack Trip
We left late one afternoon and drove up past Jackson Hole. It took us a lot longer than it should have due to a few trailer issues, but that is just our luck...we are use to it. So sometime after midnight we pulled the four trucks and trailers into the parking lot at the trail head. After taking care of the horses everyone pulled out their sleeping backs and slept under the stars...um everyone but me I decided I was going to sleep in the truck for one last WARM night. The next morning started early as everyone started to pack the horses and get ready. It takes a lot of work to accomplish this...especially with 20+ horses.

Gone are the dog days of summer.....
Wow I have really slacked off on this blogging thing. You know it is bad when Landon is the one telling me it is time to update. Well summer has come and gone but we sure enjoyed it while it lasted. Even the weather was great this summer, it never seemed to get too hot. The kids loved to be able to be outside all summer and I am definitely going to miss that come winter.
Below is a random collection of photos of some of the great times this summer. Nothing amazing- just a bunch of those little moments that you hope you can remember forever...remember how the sun felt, and the funny thing that one of the kids said, or how we all were laughing together.

We also got to spend lots of time with family and I loved loved loved every minute of it.

Hayden - what a stud!
Payton tried to brave the ride and in this picture he actually looks like he is enjoying it, but after a crying fit they finally stopped the ride and let him get off for the second half of it. Josie loved every second of it.
